Equity Book Club

Our book club is more akin to a think tank. Analyzing and discussing past liberation struggles to discern lessons learned and apply them to today’s struggles. This approach has led us to 1) successfully advocate Forest Hill Church to implement a racial equity program, 2) work with other organizations to help defeat Proposition 1, and 3) currently engaged in working with the ACLU to eliminate gerrymandering in Ohio. Also, our community forums and cultural programs similarly stem from our historical studies as recommended by Malcolm X.
